Distance Education
The course offered in the Distance Education format is the Certificate in Retail Management and Fashion Business. Distance Education has the advantage of flexible learning whereby students complete the course at their own pace, organising their own holiday breaks and being able to arrange study to fit in with their personal or professional commitments.
Distance Education is a highly personalised course taught on a one-to-one basis, and follows the timetable of the Full or Part Time Certificate, as desired.
Comprehensive written material is provided for study and sent fortnightly by post or email, together with learning resources such as magazines, newspaper articles, photographs, trade publications, pamphlets and books. All student work is carefully marked and commented on in considerable detail and promptly returned together with the next two weeks′ work.
Lecturers are available for consultation by phone, fax or e-mail to help with the preparation of exercises and assignments. Students visiting Melbourne Australia are welcome to sit in on guest lectures and excursions.
The course can be commenced monthly if preferred.
